Karachi-born, Memphis-based musician and scholar SUROOR brings her panoramic strain of hyperpop to the White Schoolhouse! Blending influences as diverse as bhangra and riot grrrl, UK drill and spoken word, sufi eastern classical and vaporwave, Suroor's boundary-pushing pop is at once cathartic and confrontational -- a neon-lit rallying cry against the pop status quo. Her 2023 debut album, Lavender Showers, is out on Purgatory Press, a DIY label/artist co-op based in Memphis which aims to serve as a community hub for artists, platform underground and DIY artists through music resources and distribution, and curate and host shows both in Memphis and worldwide.

DREY DK is a Minneapolis-based musician whose expressive, soulful voice and sparse, melancholic dream pop arrangements conjure a lo-fi Mitski. RIYL early Beach House, girl in red, and alchemizing your heartache into a jewel that sparkles in the fiery light of a midwestern sunset.

ACCESSIBILITY: There are 2 stairs to enter the front doors of the White Schoolhouse. Once inside, there are half-staircases up to the bathrooms and down into the concert area.
